SimpleDiff - DualBackup Help

SimpleDiff is a simple text file comparison tool. It is used in DualBackup to compare differences between revisions of text files. It can be launched as a standalone application to compare text files in your computer.

Toolbar

The toolbar contains various action buttons.

Button	Shortcut Key	Function
	Ctrl+O	Open file selection dialog to select files to compare.
		Refresh the contents.
	Alt+Left	Show the first difference.
	Alt+Up	Show the previous difference.
	Alt+Enter	Show the current difference. When you scroll to other part of the content, you can process this button to
	Alt+Down	Show next difference.
	Alt+Right	Show last difference.
		Show size and last modified date of both files
		Maximize the window. This button is shown when comparing revisions in DualBackup.
		Restore the window. This button is shown when comparing revisions in DualBackup.

Content

All differences are highlighted in yellow background. Current difference is identified with a blue bar in the front of the section.

Meanings of colors of text:

Color	Meaning
Red	Text is deleted.
Green	Text is added.
Blue	Text is modified.
Black	Texts are identical.
